Assumption of risk, injury waiver, and liability release

I understand that beach volleyball and athletic performance training involve inherent risks, including but not limited to sprains, strains, fractures, heat illness, sun exposure, contact with equipment or other participants, and other injury. I confirm my athlete is physically able to participate.

In consideration of participation, I release and hold harmless Rivercity Beach Volleyball Club, its founders, coaches, staff, volunteers, and facility partners from claims arising out of participation, except for gross negligence or willful misconduct.

I authorize Rivercity Beach staff to seek emergency medical treatment for my athlete if I cannot be reached, and I accept responsibility for related medical costs. I agree to notify the club of any change in my athlete’s medical condition.

I understand membership dues and program payments are payments for services and are not charitable contributions.

I have read and accept the assumption of risk, injury waiver, and liability release above. *Our family has read the Rivercity Beach athlete pledge and parent expectations, and we commit to effort, respect, accountability, and service. *I give permission for club photos and video of my athlete to be used in club materials.
